Yoga’s healing powers extend far beyond increasing flexibility and improving posture. Yoga helps to eliminate aches and pains, protect the spine, increase circulation, boost immunity, regulate adrenals, and my personal favorites, increase happiness, energy levels and relax the nervous system. Yoga also aids in digestive problems, increases self-esteem and builds awareness for transformation. Yoga is a lifestyle that when practiced, culminates a happy, healthy, peaceful and loving life.
In 2016 I received my RYT 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bali, Indonesia through YogaWorks. Since, I have taught chair yoga to seniors, Iyengar, Restorative as well as Yoga Therapy. I also offered Restorative and Yin yoga at The Art of Healing in Carmel, N.Y. as well as private yoga therapy at Putnam Hospital for the patients of Garell, P. Charles, MD
In Ayurveda, The Three Pillars of Life are proper digestion, proper sleep, and proper management of sexual activities. Eating, sleeping and procreating are essential to life, and when these three areas are in a healthful state of balance, the body and mind will reach its full potential of health and wellness.

We believe many illnesses are caused by the toxins in our foods. Avoiding manufactured ingredients and pesticides reduces the harmful substances entering our bodies. Replacing them with cleaner, more organically grown food and medicinal herbs in meal preparation aids the body in healing itself and preventing future disease.
Yoga integrates with holistic medicine as it has been found to treat the whole person. Yoga therapy increases flexibility and stamina, helps to reduce or eliminate pain and anxiety, enhances the immune system and aids in digestion. Yoga therapy focuses not only on physical health, but also, wellness of the mind and emotions.
